Indeed, landing is landing and that is what scores points. He was more active in the latter rounds I agree. I just think the cleaner punches came from Hop, he has my respect, as do both fighters.
I want to add two things to this: 1 - Pharmacist Harold Lederman must be like W.S. Burroughs and becoming a drugstore cowboy at this point. Easy fight to score, 3 rounds to Hopkins? I wouldn't be surprised that he has drugged his fu**** daughter Julie too - don't drug (****) Julie, moron, let me **** her instead and you can **** off scoring HBO fights! 2 - Joe is the new promoter in boxing and he's doing it with RJJ... yeah, Roy who beat Prince Badi Ajamu, Tony Hanshaw and Tito after a 3 year layoff so impressively. Joe is promoting Roy so that he can sell the Millenium Stadium and then put an end to Roy's misery as if you didn't know... And there are guys who believe that Forbes-DLH deserves a countdown show and 24 thousand tickets sold, you motha fu***s!
The De La Hoya-Forbes countdown show has to be one of the more ridiculous ideas. HBO is acting like their doing everyone a favor by showing that fight on HBO. I didn't even watch most of it, although Steve Forbes is a class act.
Calzaghe blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah but blah blah blah blah . However Hopkins blah blah blah blah blah blah. Moreover, blah blah blah blah for Hopkins and blah blah Calzaghe. Why you may ask? blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. In summation blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
Just to let everything out - Chuck Giampa scores 120-108 for Floyd against Baldo for what? Surely it wasn't 4 aggression... And scores 115-113 Taylor against Bernard and 116-111 Calzaghe ( 3 rounds for Hopkins)... I'm sure Chuckie would take it in the rear from Adalaide! That's all out now, thnx safe_pa.
ADD, dyslexia, bipolar brain disorders are serious problems as is evidenced in the above unintelligible, borderline psychotic rant. There may, however be a solution. Huge quantities of PROZAC.
Yeah you are, but don't be surprised that people question whether you are an alias, after you join a boxing forum and post 3 times in 13 months. And then say you like old boxing and yet there is a Classic Forum dedicated to this. You found last weeks fight interesting enough to start a thread on it. Anyway it is good to hear your views, I look forward to hearing another one in 2009.:good
Forgot to mention psychotic schizofrenia but you can't tell everything from one post. I like Prozac tho and specially for breakfast in the morning . I'm sure you gonna enjoy Harold Lederman scoring it for that legendary contest Joe Calzaghe against Roy Jones Jr ( get it right now, only available on Setanta).
If the result is based on a high volume of Ineffective, no power, inaccurate "punches", Joe wins; if it is based on a lower quantity, but accurate, powerful and effective punches, Bernard wins. Take you pick.
I'd trust Lederman's analysis over most of the ******'s that sit at ringside and judge the efforts of modern day gladiators. The guy explains his ring scoring in a clear and precise manner and seems to show little bias. He obviously favors effective aggression and the man who commands the center of the ring. We can all argue about what is "effective" aggression but when one man starts faking lowblows to get a desperately needed rest I suspect the other fighter is being effective. BTW, I enjoy Prozac too. It focuses me when I'm on it but it leaves me limp-dicked. Nothings perfect.
