Calzaghe wears Hopkins out to extreme exhaustion and Hopkins retires in the corner. Calzaghe also wins every minute of every round, it's a useless fight.

Hopkins is finished as a top tier, too far declined, he cannot handle Calzaghe at this point, had trouble with a blown up Wright and even worse, Taylor.

Hopkins in his prime even loses handily to Calzaghe. Calzaghe's not prime, but he's probably 70% or so of his prime, Hopkins now is like 40%, way gone.

Hopkins just beat winky who is a pound for pound fighter who had not lost in a decade olmost and you think joe will beat him easily. Don't be suprised if hopkins schools him like he did tarver another southpaw. At worst its a close fight won by joe but i'd bet on hopkins, exspecially since all of you will make him the underdog

I used to be a fan also, don't hate him, but his recent behaviour has turned me off and I'm no longer a fan. I still appreciate what he's done and still rate him all time well, however, Hopkins fans need to realise that he's done at this point and that he won't fight Calzaghe because he will get destroyed.

Hopkins by UD, he has the ring generalship and is the tougher fighter, Hopkins would use alot of his tricks in the ring to get Calzaghe off his game and get him to play right into to Hopkins hands.

How many elite level MW-LHW's has Hopkins beaten? At his best of course, not this 40% aged version that's no longer a good representation of a prime Hopkins.

I agree Hopkins aint what he used be, 40% is pretty low IMO. I think hes closer to 60 to 70% of what he uesd to be, which could be enough to beat Calzaghe. Hopkins is a tough costumer to deal with in the ring, if anyone could take Calzaghe out of his game its Hopkins. I just hope this match gets made, I think needs this match to better his legacy and put a great on his resume.
