all you need to know is that a past it calzaghe fought hopkins on foreign soil with a corupt ref and still kicked borenards ass. he also bent borenard over and gave him the boogie woogie just for good measure :rofl

if borenard hadn't continously held and feigned low blows he would have got tko'd. borenard was a disgrace to boxing that night! :deal

Eubank was 31 at the time and had fought 6/7 months before facing Calzaghe and around 5 months before that scoring KOs in both against poor opposition, before that Eubank was fighting Collins to a SD, dosent sound shot.
Eubank was favourite to win, the bookies dont often get it wrong
After Calzaghe beat Eubank, Eubank went up to CW and gave WBO CW champ Thompson 2 hard fights, hardly sounds shot.
I agree Eubank may have been tight at the weight, but if that derides the win then other wins that look poor due to a fighter struggling with the weights due to not doing it right or about to move up -

Dawson - Adamek
Jones - Toney
Hopkins - Tarver
Pacquiao - De La Hoya
Maywheather - Corrales

The majority dont think Calzaghe got a gift decision against Hopkins, but if Hopkins really thought he was winning do you think he would have faked injury to get points deducted?

Hopkins big wins are often made up against smaller fighters. Wow that honestly says alot about his career then :-(. If you look at it that way. I dont all in all and think Hopkins has had a very good career, just think hes rated higher due to being an American legend from the hood to world champ, it makes a great story

borenard had every advantage going in that fight venue, referee, weight and still held like a girl all night.
