    Dont get nervous, just look at the facts and analyse, be cold when analysing fights.

    I cant look at this fight without thinking that hopkins has had a career of defining the odds, evreything surrounding the fight is with hopkins , the arena, the country, the weight, joe has not faced a fighter as good as hopkins, hopkins is a big step up from Kessler, if there is any fighter i would place against cazlghe it would be hopkins , he is a master at letting him take the speed of the fight to his pace, he can counter calzaghe with all the openings he will leave i see a ud for hopkins

    No it doesnt:

    Handspeed = Calzaghe
    Footspeed = Calzaghe
    Power = Even (the last guy Hopkins Ko'd was Hoya)
    Accuracy = Hopkins
    Workrate = Calzaghe
    Adaptabilty = Calzaghe

    Infighting = Hopkins, but not by a great deal.
    Long-midrange = Calzaghe by a mile, due to handspeed.

    Also Calzaghe has been fighting at a higher weight than Hopkins for all but a few fights in Hopkins carrer and now Hopkins is the "bigger man" :nut

    It's easy to support the best fighter in the post-Jones era eh?:yep

    Especially after all those years of underlooking.

    I think he is 3rd most talented fighter of the last 10 years.

    1. Roy Jones jr
    2. Floyd Mayweather jr
    3. Joe Calzaghe

    This is a very good post. I'm not a big BHop fan, but I have grown to really detest Calzaghe, so I will be rooting for BHop. I do think Joe is underestimating Bernard, and he may also be looking past him. The ****in' guy can't hardly open his mouth without calling Pavlik out. Bernard is NOT a guy you want to underestimate or look past!

    Disagree with Mayweather as the 2nd pick, it's the popular choice, but it's also unfounded and a product of constant promotion. Mayweather has yet to even beat an elite fighter in any of the weight classes he fought in.

    I think that the 130 Mayweather is as talented as they come.
    The blend of speed and power, defence, attack. Was brilliant.

    Calzaghe aint far behind, but Mayweather is number 2 for me.

    Lewis at 4.

    jesus christ, are you saying that if Calzaghe said something similar (not that he's so ****ing stupid) there would not have been outrage? I can see it now. Calzaghe would have had his ass torn open by the black community. In fact he would have had stick from all angles.

    No offence but Baldimor Elite?? :lol: Good solid fighter, but hardly elite, same could be said for Gatti, and Zab Judah, he always struggled with the best.
