Calzaghe Vs Jones = Another Boring Fight

Couldn't agree more. Are they really going to try to put this on ppv? I doubt I would watch it on hbo, but I am definitely not going to waste 50 cents, much less 50 dollars on this one.

 

Jones will make this fight good, he's an entertainer in the ring !
And the fight will be one to remember forsure!

I ran a poll on Calzaghe/Hopkins asking if there was ANY way the fight could live up to the hype. Maybe I should resurrect it?

I think its a good fight. Jones did not look so bad last time out. He is not the same but he also is not shot.

Probably will be but Ill watch it.

Joe will win very clearly but though Im not a fan of either wouldnt it be great to see Roy pull this one out, it would be pretty amazing.
Even though I like Joe a little more, it would be great to see this generations premier fighter go out in style.

 

Could be a boring fight. Jones only chance will be early before he runs out of gas. Jones can't throw lots of punches for 12 rounds, still, could be boring.

Roy always makes a fight interesting, he his the most entertaining fighter I have ever watched in the ring.

 

I think it will be a good fight. Jones is usually always entertaining and Joe is usualy in good fights. The Calzaghe-Hopkins fight was not very exciting because Hopkins is a master at making people look bad.

Also i think Jones will be more up for this fight than any fight he has been in in a long time.

 

Could be... but Calzaghe seems like a very small light heavyweight without much punch resistance for that weight. So I'm hoping Jones makes it interesting by landing some big miracle shots and taking Calzaghe out of there.

I doubt it'll happen, but for once I'll actually be rooting for Jones in a fight. Bring the title back to America Roy!!

 

Regardless of whether this is a good match up or not I don't think it will be boring.

Both boxers come to fight and will be a lot more exciting than the Hopkins fight that's for sure.
