how is Jones a yellowbelly? He's one of the greatest fighters ever from a talent standpoint and his resume is excellent as well. He just went down hill after dropping back to light-heavy after the Ruiz fight. He's a shell of his former self but give the man respect. I would, however, enjoy seeing the Calslappy hype trained derailed but that ain't gonna happen at this stage in Jones' career.

i'm referring to his legion of nuthuggers that have recently created this "hype train" since the lacy fight. Most Calzaghe fans have been Calzaghe fans for less than 2 years and act like they've been following him since the get go. You have to admit that Calzaghe huggers are the most annoying fans in boxing(pac fans are a close 2nd) hence the reason I'd love to him lose- because i hate his fans.

  5. When Calzaghe beats Jones it will be hard to refute him with Hopkins and Jones on it - not many boxers can claim that accolade.

Still, I am in no doubt haters will find a way.

Fans like you are exactly my point. If you think that him beating Jones will prove anything at all you're crazy. Jones has been TERRIBLE since 2004. It's not haters saying this it's anyone with logic- Calzaghe will retire unproven with a weak resume and that's shitty because we'll never know if he could hang with all time greats in their primes which means there's no way to justify his all time great staus. If the 2 best names on his resume are a 43 year old Hopkins(who he barely scraped by without once hurting hopkins) and a shot Roy Jones Jr well that's just not enough to cut it.

I call Jones a Yellow Belly because he ducked the tough fights out there inspite of his great talent and was always a safety first fighter:blood

Get your facts right, most calzaghe fans have followed him for a hell of a lot longer than 2 years. your probably in that bracket someone who jumps on the next big things bandwagon.
The fact is Calzaghe has and always will have loyal supporters who have been fans of his since the amatuers when he was first recongised as a future world champion, what you dont like is the fact that he has disposed of so called next big things like jeff lacey, dangerous up and coming fighters like mikel kessler and then a legend like Bernard Hopkins.
Dont get upset because Joe Calzaghe keeps defying the odds just enjoy watching a boxer that will go down as one of the greatest champions of all time.
You should be priviliged to be able to see him box.
