i think this fight is definitely on. they are both promoting themselves and the money would be huge. 50,000 people at £30 a ticket + ppv sales = **** loads of cash.
and now that Calzaghe has admitted to a rematch clause, win lose or draw i think this is on.
i would love to be able to watch these two great fighters get it on and not have to sell my house to go to America to watch it.
    so this is great news.
my only reservation is if Jones takes a hiding and makes a rematch pointless.
Do you think Calzaghe Jones jr 2 would be a good idea or would it just be nothing more than an exhibition for 2 fighters eager to cash in on one last big payday.? :think

It would only be huge if Joe lost the first one.
    Otherwise is totally pointless.

    i thought joe was retiring,

only if joe loses there will be a rematch in my opinion

This is too early, all depends how the fight goes Saturday night. If it's one-sided for Cazlaghe then forget about it. If Calzaghe loses then this happens 100%.

If he rematches anyone, he should be Hopkins.

Though I think he should only carry on fighting after Jones if 50-0 is his goal, if not there is no added benefit for fighting a rematch everyone knows he can win.

i think it depends on the manner of the loss. if its a split decision then a rematch would be interesting.

i dont think i could cope with hopkins 2. the first was crap.
if he is going for 50-0 there are better fights like Dawson for example.

True id hate to see Calzaghe Hop 2 aswel.

But if he were to fight 4 more times, itd be hard to ignore Hopkins considering the closeness of the first match.

I only wish that he had taken the Pavlik fight as opposed to Jones.

I had been saying that Pavlik was overhyped and that B-Hop would school him.

If only Joe had got there first he would have had all the accolade that B-Hop is getting now.

Having said that i would love Joe to rematch B-Hop, beat him again and then retire. Yes the fight was shite and ugly but he needs to shut B-Hops mouth because the more Bernard is talking it seems that more people are actually believing him that he won the fight.

if he had beaten pavlic it would turn out to be another over hyped lacy affair. he still wouldn't get any credit. he would need to beat the incredible hulk to death armed only with a feather duster to get any kind of recognition. incidentally i would pay ****ing good money to see that fight.:rofl :rofl

Win Lose or Draw Roy Jones is not going to ever fight in Wales. Anyone that thinks he would is delusional.
