Great post!!! Prime Calzaghe had an iron chin, healthy hands and a hard punch to go along with his incredible speed and ridiculous workrate. I agree with Manny Steward who called the Jones-Calzaghe oldman fight. "Joe would have been a very difficult fight for Roy at anytime in their careers."

It wasnt the brits tipping lacy to smash calzaghe, some did perhaps but those who knew how good calzaghe was didnt bet against him Many AMERICANS tipped lacy to win because they were ignorant to how good calzaghe was, the brits knew calzaghe was the real deal and he proved it that night and suddenly all the ones tipping lacy dissapeared like magic
And it was all "ahh but lacy was overrated anyway blah blah" BS the fact is lacy was never the same fighter after that night never has been the same, just as kessler never has been the same.
