For a long time I had no interest in this fight - because it was 10 yrs too late and I thought that Roy Jones was shot.

But now I am actually looking forward to the fight.

Because I am fascinated to see their styles clash and I am just wondering can Roy Jones dig something special up for one last big performance also there is a suspicion Calzaghe at 36 yrs old has slipped too because his last performance against Hopkins lacked that spark of his previous performances.

If it takes place in America also this makes it even tougher for Calzaghe and Jones has got a better chance.

I still think Calzaghe wins though

 

poor choice of venue imo,jones v trinidad wasnt too well received compared to tito's other fights in there,i dont think the atmosphere will match the event they shoulda gone for cardiff.

3 years isn't that much of a difference. I think people on here are forgetting that it's not just Jones that is way past his prime, Calzaghe is also.

Plus, I'm still not convinced this is happening in September, just seems way too soon for me.

 

Probaly November there are always delays and problems and orginal dates pushed back

espically when it comes to Joe "sick note" Calzaghe
