dude if they were the same size.....I couldn't even comprehend it because those are 2 of the most talented fighters in boxing right now. It would be something totally amazing to see. Other than that I don't think its worth talking about who would win.
PacDBest : When has Joe Calzaghe fought anyone with the Speed & Power of Pac??? Pac has Iron chin. Calzaghe slaps and is featherfisted. Pac blitz him Early.
P4P, Calzaghe's resume is far weaker than Floyd's. Calzaghe is just a boxer that does everything very good. Floyd is sui generis.
I honestly think that Floyd Mayweather and Joe Calzaghe are 2 of the best boxers ever to lace up their gloves. If they were of the same or similar size I think it would be the best fight of recent times, possibly ever.
Who would win a beer drinking contest between an elephant and a mosquito, if they were the same size...?:think
We aren't talking about resumes because they don't fight. Calzaghe is more than a solid boxer who does everything good - he too is great. His speed is amazing, his defense, ring generalship, combinations (which are better than Floyds), and he is a very underrated body puncher (much like Floyd). Both are the two best boxers in the game.
Ok...now this question just doesn't make sense...not least because it would depend very much what common size they would both be at... ...damn...I am making this point weekly but no one is convinced...:verysad
Yeah. Joe Calzaghe is scared shitless of greats like Antonio Tarver, and Chad Dawson. Who the **** is Chad Dawson again? Hopkins only just fought at 175, and chickened out of making a fight 4 years ago, which you conveniently forget
yesihavearms i got to agree that why mayweather rates calzhage very highly and i mean very highly and wehn i see calzhaghe fights he reminds me of mayweather just check for yur self but joes a little more offensively minded but joes skills level is out of the roof i knew that from day one even though i disliked him early in his career very cocky and arrogant guess what the same as mayweather, mayweather and calzaghe has just got that timing the eye its very hard to explain you got to see to beleive
