I was at the Cardiff press conference on Saturday and both Roy and Joe said that if they look good in their fight at Madison Square Garden then they will come to Cardiff for a return fight. I'm not holding my breath for the Pavlik fight but if it happens I think Joe decisions him.
It was Roy who was pushing for it. Before Joe came on stage he asked the crowd to help him persuade Joe. Said he would love to come to Cardiff to fight for the fans. Joe also confirmed it, but did say "if we look good". I'm sure Roy would love it. 2 high profile fights with someone who is less likely to knock him out than many other fighters (due to the brittle hands).
I think the RJJ rematch is a big possibilty, both of them will be looking at it as a cash cow, not much risk and good money to finish off their careers. It's left open with the war of words between JC and Pav. It's all gonna depend how the fights play out. I can't ever see the Froch thing panning out, what sort of money would be involved in domestic fight like that for Joe to consider it?
Downed by Taylor who Isn't a puncher and Taylor couldn't stop Light Middleweights and Taylor could of finished the job If he wasn't so negative. Pavlik was all over the place In the 2nd round. Taylor won the rematch though which got gifted to Pavlik. Pavlik Is only of the easiet world class fighters to hit, he'd lose to the likes of Kessler, Abraham and he'd undoubtedly lose to Calzaghe easily. Joe loves come forward 1-2 fighters.
