Does JC hve the tools to beat the man RJJ in his prime

Considering evreything , i would say Calzaghe UD , he would take him all the way n not let up causing RJJ not to fight his fight gedtting him frustrated giving calzaghe oppertunites to land the clearer shots causing a UD at the end of the fight

Roy Jones Jr UD 116-112 or there abouts.

Roy negates most of what Joe does best, with his speed and footwork.

Jones, and 8-4 is as close as it gets. Calzaghe makes too many mistakes and can't match physical tools with a prime Jones -- Roy might even get a late stoppage.

RJJ would have great difficulty with Joes speed and the volume of punches he throws.
But I think RJJ takes it.

(I still think RJJ was a cheating roid taker)

Does nobody even hink Calzaghe has a chance?

    u must underestimate him

because if u watch calzaghe movement and ability to upset game plans i belive he will frustrate him all night when the first rounds are close calzaghe will get the upper hand and then out work him in the l8r rounds

RJJ in his prime was one of the most impressive, amazing fighters to watch. The way he fought was absolutely a thing of beauty. He threw amazing combinations from odd angles, was probably the fastest SMW ever, had awesome KO power, and was rarely hit. RJJ in his prime was one of the absolute best in any weight ever.

RJJ wins, i dont know how, but I dont give calzaghe much of a chance. Calzaghe has never done anything that shows me that he could beat a prime Roy...

Yes he was. RJJ moved and boxed, thats what he did. That's just as 1 dimensional as Hattons swarming style.

no but since u mentioned that Jones does bring his head alot when fighting giving me the idea of a barriage of pounches and when RJJ h8s pressure fighters giving Calzaghe the total on the cards to be in JC favour
