    SHOTS* NOT SHITS* LOL
im not saying Calzaghe doesnt have heart, and a good chin. But to me I dont care who you are, if some1 hits hard, and can land punches on you in succession. Hard precise shiots, to the body and head, you will go down. Weaken that body, the strongest chin will fall best believe that. Thats something I learned from boxing. THe strongest chin can go down, if you weaken that body. Personally I just think RJ would pot shot and dam near land at will on Calzaghe. Calzaghe will be there 2 fight now doubt, and hw will try do wat he does. BUt in the end I see RJ by KO

the strongest chin can go down, but i dont see roy landing at the rate you do, joe's got the defence and reflexes to be very hard to hit if he wants to be, and roy's not exactly a pressure fighter. jc will be there to fight to and in his prime has the power to hurt roy and the speed and skills to hit him too and if he found himself outgunned he could box his way to lose a decision without getting knocked out.

    :yikes

Roy would be too quick, too powerful and too smart for Joe.

Roy would win via a wide UD by between 6-8 rounds. Calzaghe's good chin and defensive skills would save him from being stopped.

roy's speed and reflexes would be too much for calzaghe (in prime). joe isn't strong enough to outman roy like a johnson.

Roy Jones Jr UD Joe Calzaghe 8-4/9-3.

Pretty comfortably actually. Roy could negate what Calzaghe does well with his hand and foot speed. Joe would not be able to hit Roy enough and stop himself from getting hit in return to win.

Also on the subject of Roy knocking Joe out. Sugar Ray Leonard once said something like: "I there was a nuclear war 3 things would survive: Cockroaches; Oliver McCall and Joe Calzaghe" The man has an Iron chin, coupled with exellent reflex's and a massive heart i doubt Joe would get KO'd.

Roy was way past prime when he fought Johnson.

I know. But the type of fighter to beat roy is definitely a guy like glen, even in his prime. do you not agree?

I think the kind of guy to beat Roy in his prime is basically a tall rangy southpaw, who is naturally much bigger than him and is also fast: such as Michael Spinks.

Or someone who is much bigger than him that can outright bang such as Bob Foster.

I see Roy'd footwork constantly keeping him out of range of a guy like Johnson. So that Glen could not start to impose himself physically on Roy. I see Roy beating Glen comfortably at 160, 168 or 175 in their primes.

No Glen is too straight up and would get picked off constantly coming in, while Jones wouldn't be there.

Guys like Nunn, Spinks, etc....tall guys with rangy jabs and good timing have the best shot at prime Jones. Pressure figthers smother some of his offense, but leave themselves open for counter shots and at some point his footspeed would take over and they would either lose or get caught coming in.

I cant believe folks are even considering Joe beating Roy. They are either tards are just ****ing igorant to the fact Roy was one of, if not "the" most gifted fighters ever to lace up a pair of gloves. You can't love a guy that much to be completely blinded by facts. Jones would make Joe look foolish. Come on guys, why even have this thread? Yes, Joe would be a live underdog but wouldn't win no more than 3 or 4 rounds, and that's only because Roy let him have those rounds. For those who actually picked Joe to win...have you ever seen Roy Jones fight? Jones' speed and lead rights would tear Joe's lefty style up.
