i dont know where you get your source from mate, but frank warren was talking in the sun about hopkins rejecting a match with prime jc

jones rejected a match with jc, but i dont blame him for this because he had nothing to gain

ottke didnt want to fight jc outside of germany and thats a fact

jc fought everyone that he could who didnt duck him

A rematch should have happened. It merited a revisit, particularly considering some of the pitiful fights Calzaghe took in the 18 months following it.

the thing is, JC working at full capacity would make it an unfair matchup

What an absolute pile of bollox.

Jones didnt reject JC, HBO probably wouldnt have even accpeted JOe as a credibile opponent at the time. JOe was a decent fighter who didnt want to fight outside the UK.

Joe only recently received credibility for beating Kessler and LAcy...that why Jones and Bhop fought him...he became a credible/viable opponent.

Joe could have move to light heavy and forced a fight years ago, but he knew he could con every numpty in the UK fightign MArio VIET twice a year!!

what a pile of bull crap

rejected as in indirectly as in jones team if you read the rest of the sentance as well i even say he has nothing to gain

hopkins ducked the original offer because he knew he wouldnt win, and only fought JC when he knew he couldnt weave his way around it any longer

JC should have never faced jones in that match as he was shot to ****

joe was once on an undercard of iron mike, and warren pushed for a big AMERICAN name, but their was no takers

JC didnt want to face viet again, he says as much in his book

JC was one of the most avoided fighters of his generation and your logic is blinded by hatred and jealousy

I know there are loads of inbreds in Norfolk but know we know people are retared also!! ffs

Yes Calzaghe fought DAVID STARIE!!! on the undercard of TYSON. that says it all.

Of course there were no American takers, did you see how bad Calzgahe was in that match?

That was his mandatory (shows you how dodgy and unlegit the WBO is)

JC wanted to make it as easy for himself as possible, of course he didnt want top face VIET again, but he knew he could use the WBO belt as avehicle to con everyone and make easy money.

Why should he go to the US and face Light Heavy liek Tarver Johnson to get in line to Face Jones?

Reid said: "I can't argue with the decision. Joe was the better boxer on the night and I knew I could not catch him for speed."

From that BBC article posted earlier.

    Enough said.

Calzaghe won a close, but clear decision in my book.

lol...bless..Wont go personal with you because it must be ghard enough as it is.

A good way to look at things is.

Camoacho beat Ray leanord when comacho was 36 Ray was 39( Comacho Kod ray)

Does anyone think Camacho was a s good as Ray Leanord.....No.

the same will apply for JOEY C. Naseem Hamed used to get hammered in here for facing past prime champs in his 16 defences, at least he faced BArrera (ATG) in his prime in the US.

If he really wanted to face the best he would have put himself in a position to face the best, not fight Tucker Pudwills and David Staries for his 1st 18 defences.

He decided to fight decent opposition (though) average with Kessler and LAcy. guess what happened next he got Hopkins and Jones.

He should have dropped his WBO gong(Warren Boxing Organisation) and gobe to US earlier but liek Slappy said in his book.

Why go abroad when i could make easy money at home.

Says it all abou tthis gu, a Conman out of Warren books.

Excelelnt fighter but a slimeball business man.
