Calzaghe is quite clearly the better, more special fighter. I think every poster even the biased ones know that deep down.

This. I'm a big fan of Ward, but he's never fought anyone with Calzaghe's handspeed and timing. Ward would have to slow the pace down to have a chance, but I just don't see it, since Calzaghe is twice the fighter Kovalev is.

I never said it was, you arectge one who claimed Wards was vastly greater.

    Now considering Ward had 4
5 fights against 4 fighters only 2 are worthy of mention in Barrerra and Kovalev.

The RJJ that IF beat was a money fight More than anything, but was still light years better than Paul Smith jr and Brand.

As for Barrerra at the time he faced Ward he himself had only beaten Murat and a shot Lacy.

Hopkins was top 3 P4P when Joe beat him and was on a great run and beat many top fighters after....he beat Kovalevs second best victory in Pascal.

Then we have Kovalev a guy who's best win is Hopkins SIX YEARS AFTER JOE BEAT HIM. But no doubt he gets credit off you for doing that.

    1. Hopkins
    2. Kovalev
    3. Barrerra
    4. RJJ
    .
    .
    .
    5. PSJ
    6. Brand.

There's nothing vastly greater about the victories at all.

haha you jest, since the quote I had from you is about this -

You are as I said, categorically and exactly to the letter (your own letters) comparing wards worst tune-up wins with joes "legacy" fights.

You appear to be saying "try to keep up" whilst puffing miles behind me. ahahaha! you are trying to cheer me up again by playing the fool on purpose, i get it, thanks pal.

Calzaghe has faster hands, hit harder when his hands hadn't fallen to peices near the end of his career, obviously better stamina.

Ward for me had better foot work though Calzaghe's was very good too. Ward was clearly superior technically, far better defensively too.

They are pretty evenly matched. But had they fought l'd favour Calzaghe as much as it pains me to say that, l think it's true.

Ward doesn't have the right hand that Calzaghe was so open too. He doesn't have the power to force Calzaghe to box against him like Kessler did to Calzaghe. Sure Ward is skilled enough to out box Joe but then Joe just goes into overdrive and swarms Ward and without that right hand and genuine power he gets overwhelmed by all those slaps. Calzaghe wins a close decision.

hahah you still trying to be dumbo on purpose. I've quoted exactly your words, I didnt write them for you, so i guess you are happy to self-punch whilst I am"trying to keep up" ahahaha...comparing wards tune-ups with calzaghes legacy fights! and claiming joe is superior on that count. hilarious.

Did Ward face Smith jr and Brand at light heavyweight?

If the answer you give is YES, then they are part of his resume at 175 which is what I was comparing....not to you I might add as you've once again highjacked a post regarding JC and trying to turn it into another troll thread.

If the answer you give is NO, then an explanation will be needed.

hahaha! You making out that I'm comparing them is funny, since its you comparing them, see -

but you are running away from what you wrote now, it seems. Good on yer mate. I would be running away from trying to compare ward tuneups with calzaghes legacy fights, and then claiming in some insane way that joe is miles ahead from that comparison!

Thats like claiming that Mario Veit is miles ahead of joe because his legacy fight with Braehmer is much better than joe's staybusy agianst Nick Manners! ahahah! thats would the dumbest claim ever.
