    But surely you know boxing politics. Its not that easy to say, I want to fight Dawson in March. Do you hear Chad asking for Joe? No....We all know Calzaghe wants B-Hop, so the fight before is just a filler. He's not looking for an easy route IMO, just something to keep him busy yet build his legacy at the same time. Make no mistake Winky would not be an easy fight at 168.

    As a Calzaghe fan, I'd be most disappointed if the fight with that joker Winky is made.... completely pointless, boring, easy fight.

    I don't see them fighting, but if they do, it will not be good for Winky. Because Winky is on the decline, and Calzaghe is still in his prime.

    its not pointless at all. Calzaghe wants to fight Hopkins. Hopkins beat Winky 8-4, can Joe do better?

    Also, how many times have we heard "Joe has no great names on his record". well Winky would solve that problem. Part of achieving a great record is beating other greats, whether they're moving up or not. Granted, WW is not the greatest win for Calzaghe, but its far from "completely pointless, boring, and easy"

    Pointless fight...would be very dispiriting if Joe fought Winky...there would be more of a threat to Joe at 168 than Winky...sure, there might be money in it and Joe is after big money + NAME...but damn...:verysad

    I love that Calzaghe's scrotum rodents have gone on and on who it isn't even worth Joe's time to fight an old man like Hopkins because Joe is so great and Hopkins is so old, and now, Joe is targetting a Hopkins leftover.
