Calzaghe wants pavlik?

Especially with Palle brining down Kessler's stock. I hear Kessler is getting some fresh input as far as training. Not sure if it was a new trainer or just some additional. Someone posted on one thread in here some where.

 

Yeah, I mean dude up there said JT and BHop are not world level, so I'm dying to see who he thinks on Joes record is? You know the only thing left he has to say is Kessler or Lacy!:rofl

When Pavlik stepped up in class and fought Miranda an easy two thirds of ESB prediicted Miranda would knock him out, because, as everyone knows, Pavlik has a shaky chin and no defense. Pavlik went in with the perfect game plan, showed that he is capable of excellent execution, ate Miranda's best shots like they were ****ing skittles, and tore Miranda's ass up.

When Pavlik stepped up in class again, and fought JT, 60-70% of ESB predicted that Taylor would stop him late, or win a wide UD, because, as eveyone knows, Pavlik has a shaky chin, slow hands, poor foot work, and no defense. Pavlik left Taylor slumped in the corner asking, "Did I get knocked out."

Now there are easily 75% of posters on ESB that claim Pavlik is "made for" Calzaghe. The facts indicate the exact opposite.

One can only conclude that there are many posters on this forum who are very poor analysts

You are exactly right though, NOBODY gave Pav a snowballs chance in hell agaisnt Miranda, hardly NOBODY. Then after that destruction, coupled with the Taylor HATERS, there were a few more that joined in for Pav over Taylor I. After that thrilling destruction, a few more yet saw the light, but still less than 50-60 %.

 

And OH YEAH, for you Calzombies, Calzaghe vs. Lacy is on ESPN Classic right now and as I'm watching it's absolutely ****ing hillarious to see you guys comparing Pavlik to little short ass Lacy. Yeah he has power, but he has to get right into Calz chest to even be able to use it, then his D is aweful and throws wide, just leans his head in like he's wanting to lay on Calz shoulder, and Cal eats him up. But please by all means, expect to see the same thing from the 6'3" long tall Pavlik.

 

this fihgt will never happen JOE knows he's been slipping and he won't take the risk against a young hungry undefeated fighter . for him it won't be worth the risk. he'll fight RJJ and more then likely close out his career with that fight or fight another old big name .

Of course Joe said he wants Pavlik..but Joe is too intelligent than to risk his padded record and reputation on fighting a real warrior that can beat him....he'll fight Jones and retire(not sure if he wins that one either)
Again everyone wants Pavlik except Winky Wright......Klitchko would fight him if he could make 160

 

Or they're all gay & infatuated with Calzaghe's handsome looks, like my 80 year old mother-in-law. She was over the night Joe slapped the **** outta Lacey & commented, "who's he? I'm gonna have to start watching boxing now, I think!."

 

It's funny now all the Pavlik pickers are coming out of the woodwork after Calzaghe looks semi-bad against Bernard Hopkins of all people, at light heavyweight :roll:

Maybe they should give odds in vBookie? Joe isn't that far from his fight with Kessler. I think that would have to give him confidence that he isn't done yet. He may feel THIS is the one he needs for his legacy. Trying to figure out my own mind is misleading enough, let alone me trying to read some one elses.:nut
