Well they have 70.000 tickets to sell - they better get a bit verbal in the leadup for the fight :)

I like it. A good combination of the respectful and the confident. You get the sense that both Kessler and Calzaghe admire each other, much as they plan on beating the crap out of each other.

They have the same confident air about them. I expect them to be all smiles at the coming press conferences: He's very very good, elite, but only second best.

I wonder how they'll look, sizewise. I think Calzaghe has a bigger frame than Kessler. Even arm punches from a big man can hurt, especially when landed as often as Calzaghe typically does.

I don't think he'll floor Kessler, but I do think he'll confuse him. Calzaghe UD.

Im amazed of the state boxing is in these days..2years ago no1 even mentioned joe calzaghe except a few welshman and the odd pom.Now with a win over the OVERHYPED jeff WHERE DID THE LEFT HOOK GO lacy and suddenly he is a pound for pound great.

Im not doubting he is a great boxer and has been the dominant figher in the UNTIL NOW weak super middle division, but why all of a sudden does he warrant so much applause.I dont get it.

I will not except answers from any1 with a calzaghe avatar..lol

Yes, I'm afraid you're right, because Calzaghe will probably pull out of the fight in the last minute claiming he has been injured.

This thing is too big. It's the kind of fight where a man goes in with whatever scars he picked up in training camp and just does his job, regardless. It takes balls to take part in a superfight, real stones, because there is so much weight on your shoulders to perform, and you know you're part of something bigger than yourself.
