Calzaghe wants to Help the Viking Warrior Tame the Cobra

    Just seen article about this at live fight and thought i'd post it if it's already been posted then apologies.

    Rumours suggest that Joe Calzaghe has allegedly offered his assistance to Mikkel Kessler ahead of his fight with Carl Froch.

    According to Lionheart-Boxing.dk and ekstrabladet.dk, Calzaghe has contacted Kesslers manager to offer his help to ensure the Viking Warrior beats Froch and win the WBC Title.

    Kessler obviously hasn't rejected the idea and looks likely to use Calzaghes help ahead of the fight.

    Thoughts???

    Can't argue with you mate i feel same way. If this is true which to be honest i think it probably is. He has no reason to get involved he already feels Kessler gonna win so just stay out of it. What ever's gone in the past should stay in the past..showing no class at all if this is true.

    If this is true then I'm convinced Calzaghe will come out of retirement to fight Froch sometime, if Froch beats Kessler that is.

    Yeah he will have to wait a bit though. He had his chance to fight Froch but he went into retirement and acts like a kid. Froch said silly things yeah but that's because he wanted the man to fight him and surely Joe can understand that...well come to think about it Joe was never keen on calling out the best. And that's from someone who don't mind him. Just don't like this petty stuff...Kessler doesn't need your help Joe so **** off.

    Seems a bit sad for a multi-millionaire. Basically Joe, you had the beating of the big nosed banger, so you should have fought him in your farewell.

    It is a bit sad.

    But that's Calzaghe for you, a fiery welsh/Italian...... Been bullied as a youngster and don't like lippy ****s like Froch..

    He can offer all the help he wants it doesnt change the fact that if Froch wins his next 2 fights which i think he will then his record eclipses his and his legacy is tarnished.
