Apparently Mikkel Kessler is the fighter Joe want's to sign the most and he also give's his predictions for the Froch/Taylor fight, He actually give's Froch a few props,Check it out.

Kessler needs a good promoter but i don't see Joe helping out much. Really he has burnt his bridge to golden boy through B-Hop maybe if he links up with Arum he can get some big fights stateside

DLH will know Hopkins is a clown anyway.... if money is to be made personal feelings will be cast aside.

Otherwise, why be friends with a guy that cheated to beat you?

This mightn't actually be that bad an idea for Kessler.
Calzaghe does have some(albeit limited) experience in promoting from the Calzaghe v Jones fight and Calzaghe will also know Kessler's frustration from not getting the big fights, and he'll know what sort of level Kessler is capable of fighting at more than anyone else.

Kessler really does need to start making a name for himself in America though, it's the only way he'll manage to get big fights at either Super-Middleweight or Light-Heavyweight.

Personally if i were Mikkel Kessler i would be looking for a very established Promoter when the current contract with Mogens Palle run's out. **** getting involved with a fledgling operation like Calzaghe Promotions after the run around he's been getting for the last 2 years.

  7. Maybe he still has Tocker Pudwills number

Why would Calzaghe want to be a promoter in a "dying sport?" :huh

    calzaghe is a hyocrit.

He said "Kessler is unknown in America".

"Who has Kelly Pavlik fought? nobody s interested in that fight"

Now he's a promoter, he's ****ing breaking his neck to sign the big names.

    lmao.

You're right, he'll never make it in the straightforward and honest world of boxing promotion...

A fairly significant part of Calzaghe's legacy revolves around what Kessler does from now on. It's odd to think of Joe promoting him as well.

Lol this is quite funny. Joe trying to add credability to his legacy by using his one non-past-it opponent.

'Expect Kessler versus Johnson, Dawson, Tarver, Hopkins,Pavlik, Froch and Adamek in the coming months. Its win-win for Joe. Kessler beats them and he can say 'well i beat kessler innit', if he loses he can say 'I ruined him just like Lacy'.

    He's not daft is he?

Yes because that would be a great success as a promoter, to lose all the fights you make for your guy. That would really thrill him.

I hope this does not happen anyway, it doesn't make much sense on any level from Kessler's viewpoint.
