Bhop is tougher then Calzaghe has ever thought he was. Bhop has NO FEAR of Calzaghe at all. The fight will show that. Bhop wont back up when Calzaghe jumps in with his barrage a slap. He will let one under his sloppy defense on that chin.

Not sure how much your practice shots in the gym are going to help you on the night against Calzaghe, if he is fast and keeps on "slapping you"...:think ...Calzaghe'll take the shots and carry on hitting...

Dorf, how come we don't have an avatar bet on this fight (non-gay of course). If Calzaghe stops Hopkins, you wear one for 1 month; if Hopkins wins more than 3 rounds, objectively judged (i.e. not by the judges on the night) and survives 12, I wear one for 1 month; deal?

Its pretty clear:lol: Joe's focusing on Hop's routines of the past but he has many tricks he plays. The entire build up to this is between two pissed off camps. Check the most recent Enzo interview.

I hope Calzaghe humiliates B hop for 12 rounds....i dont even want to see a KO....I think anyone in boxing can be KO'ed but there is nothing better than seeing a fighter will his way off his stool every round knowing that his only options are quit or continue to get beat up!!! ....there is no better feeling than seeing that!!!!:good

He has to rehearse so that he can execute, and he has to do it at a breathtaking pace - so it's two tasks for Hopkins: technical and physical training, no time for hyping the fight at the time being... Calzaghe is impressively fluid and fast but he tends to make contact with that inside of his gloves and sort of push em back, and Hopkins hits em with stern, precise right hands from outside range - I have my doubts if Calzaghe will carry on hitting after taking some major loads on his face... Not to mention cuts - Winky was afraid of the headbutt but he couldn't avoid it... Bernard pissed him off at the weigh-in, he comes at full force for the first 3 rounds, misses a double jab and a left as Hopkins offsets him to the side, bounces off the ropes and goes right onto Wright's eye bone in the early 3rd... Of course, Hopkins said that he was not even looking at him and that Winky was coming at him, that southpaws and orthodox fighters tend to cross feet and bump heads but you know :think ... I want to see Calzaghe fighting with blood streaming down his face.

What if Hopkins wins 2 clear rounds and another 3 are close, that could go either way?

It's pretty hard to score a boxing fight, objectively... sometimes.

Not that I'm apart of it, but wouldn't a - If Hopkins gets knocked out, you win; If Hopkins doesn't get knocked out, Dorf wins - make better sense. In the sense that NO subjectivity comes into play?

When did you write that post - I must have not taken notice of it friend - but I have an avatar bet with you for this one, remember? For how long as you want so that we can live the moment with more intensity all the way till April 19th... I don't care if people call us childish because they don't want to play with us so they can do what elder people do and between themselves... If you want to go a lil bit further and put some boxing DVDs, posters, cards, even real money on the table, I'll take it and you know I will not run away if I lose. That is the main thing in a bet, we can't leave the board and have to take the bashing... I am thinking that this will be a close, tough fight that can go either way, and you say it's going to be a comfortable win or a late TKO for Cal, isn't it, Dec?

I am not betting money or anything like that...but an avatar...for one month...non-gay...I win if Cal wins 9 rounds or stops Bhops, you win if Bhops wins 4 rounds and survives 12, by our own, fair objective judgement. Deal?:deal

    No....that's not fair on me...

We'll go by clearly won rounds...if Bhops wins 4 rounds clearly or Calzaghe wins less than 9 rounds clearly, I lose, unless he stops Bhops.
