Calzaghe wins very comfortable UD's against both Hopkins and Winky.

Possibly, these fights could prove embarrassing for both of them. Kessler had the pop to keep Joe honest, but these guys don't, and there's simply no stopping his varied workrate with only good defensive work.

I can see Joe hurting both.

I can't see him stopping either, but if one of them got stopped, it would be Winky. I think he wins wide decisions over both now.

I dont see Calzaghe hurting anyone with those paddy cake slaps. But a wide UD is certainly in the cards. He sticks his chin out and showboats like he did against Kessler and he gets Ko'd though.

Neither Winky or Hopkins could KO Joe

Winky and Bhop would both beat Calzaghe.

How exactly will they beat him? Jermain Taylor troubled both fighters -- and Calzaghe is a class above, from a different weightclass and poses significant stylistic problems because of his workrate and angles -- both Winky and Hopkins usually go for decision wins, and it's hard to win rounds against someone that throws twice as much.

Besides -- Winky doesn't belong at 168, and Calzaghe is one of the best ever at that weight.

Agreed. Winky and B-Hop are a level above Kessler and would punish him for showboating.

Apparently Joe gets KTFO if he sticks his chin out against either! I guess they actually both hit harder than Mikkel Kessler or Jeff Lacy but have been hiding it all these years waiting for the right moment. :scaredas:

I'm not even willing to concede that either is a level above Kessler in skill.

In terms of raw punching power? Head to head, you think Ronald Wright and Bernard Hopkins are more likely to win the whack-a-mole prize against Joe than Mikkel Kessler? Puff and pass, man. :rasta

Joe wouldn't hurt either of them, he doesn't hit that hard.

The only reason Joe would beat Bernard is because Bernard is 42 and about 4 years past the tail end of his prime.
