Calzaghe would beat Dawson if they fought next year

So, how many of Calzaghe's opponents ever walked through those slaps to fully execute their own gameplans?

Calzaghe wouldn't have faught anyone like dawson. He wouldn't have the advantages he always enjoyed. Dawson has as fast, if not faster handspeed and more power with foot movement and stanima to match Joe. Plus a bigger man period with an undefeated record, that has weathered storms of being hurt by glen johnson and thomaz adamek. Joe knew what he was doing by not fighting him.

I wouldn't count JC out but he doesn't want it with a guy like dawson. Bernard hopkins doesn't want it with dawson either.

 

And johnson would kill kessler in brutal fashion if anyone doesn't already know that.

 

this whole thread is hilarious. calzaghe/dawson would be a good fight, but imo dawson would get the decision 9 out of 10 times. wish this fight could still somehow be made.

Calzaghe is better than Dawson any day, but he will not come out of retirement.

 

Calzaghe is overrated. Dawson would´ve beaten him, no doubt.

 

Johnson beat Dawson in their first fight but was cheated. Dawson won the rematch. Calzaghe can't fight because he is Euro, according to the Euro haters.
