What, clean KO'd? You said he'd of KO'd Hopkins. Calzaghe can't punch because he has brittle hands and woeful technique, and Hopkins is a wiser, experienced operator with a fanstastic defence and a very, very good chin. There's no way he would of been stopped.

When did I say he would KO Hopkins? He has stopped 70% of his opposition. That's fact.

I'm guessing the TS used to watch Calzaghe fight earlier in his career when he racked up that high KO % that he has.

Calzaghe didn't punch with any real power by the time of the Hopkins fight.

No way in hell was he gonna KO Hop in round 13, 14, 15, 19.

Probably not. Hopkins never been stopped, and Calzaghe isn't exactly a KO artist.
I had Hopkins winning this fight by 1 single point. I guess we can say that it's a fight that could've gone either way. But I agree that if it had gone the full 15, I think Calzaghe would have won this clearly.

Apologies, I thought you were the thread starter. He's not stopping Hopkins in any round. He may of actually taken the last 3 rounds and won the fight, but he wont' of stopped him.

No-one was really arguing that point though !

Hopkins knocked out at all is a mega long shot but by the flailing brittle hands of calzaghe ??? No way , no ****in how

    AND !!!!

Calzaghe was utterly spent at the end of 12 , as he should have been, his plan was ( for his style ) perfectly executed, contain Hopkins by just pouring it on and he did.

Most of them were low level guys.

He hasn't KO'd no one good.

calzaghe would have won a clearer decision had it gone 15, and hopkins would have gone to the wrong corner 3 more times

I agree. I thought Calz won the fight, but I could not see him registering a KO even if the fight lasted 30 rounds.
