Great win for Froch in the end, well happy with the result. Once again he calls out Cazlaghe, seriously, he would get annihilated, it would be Lacy MkII! He has no guard and is quite slow, this would be a massacre, I hope Joe stays retired for Carls sake.

Calzaghe will stay retired. I think Froch will eventually get the picture that he ain't coming back and he'll have to call out Kessler.

The correct term "would Lacify" him. And, no, he wouldn't, not now when his hands are too busted up to hurt Froch. Joe might win a decision, but not Lacify Froch.

Go check out who Calzaghe was fighting in his first ever defense - then exit left.

No joke, I don't know where Froch gets off thinking he's even close to being in Calzaghe's league just because he beat a past-his-prime Jermain Taylor (and that's not to take credit away from Froch - the Taylor that fought him tonight FOUGHT WELL AND FOUGHT WITH HUNGER, but Taylor's prime was over after Pavlik II in my opinion). Hell, if the 12th round was 14 seconds shorter Froch wouldn't have even won tonight, and I guarantee you Calzaghe won't have a stamina problem or be on the defensive as long as Taylor was tonight.

I give it all up to Froch but actually had the same thoughts using the same terminology when i was thinking of the prospect a few minutes ago. JonOli wtf u talking about mate? What relevance is it if Calzaghe had the worst defences when it comes to beating him.

    If anything, Lacy exposed Calzaghe.

Yes, might. We don't know Calzaghe's state of mind, or what he's been doing since he retired. He might come in the ring like Jim Jefferies against Jack Johnson or Sugar Ray Leonard in his last "comeback". Meanwhile, Froch is at the top of his game. Yes, 2 or 3 yrs ago it would have been no contest (a win for JC) but now, it's problematic. Depends on JC's mental state, and the state of his hands, which is bad.

"The term was coined by Amsterdam of the East Side Boxing Forum to describe the beating Joe Calzaghe gave Jeff Lacy." BULL****! I came up with that term first!!! Ask Ted Sares!!!
