    Dawson sucks.
    Calzaghe aint much better.
Roy Jones beats them both the same day.

Jones is only a bit over 2 years older than Joe, so age is no factor...and after experiencing the awkwardness of Hopkins, Joe should be a great match with dawson, even though now, it would be advantage for the Calzaghe fans to use the age factor should Joe lose to dawson

OMG that was frightening. I loved that movie as a kid, but its good that I didn't see that music video. That guy would have scarred me for life

You think everybody detiorates at the same rate? Jones skills have eroded a lot more than Calzaghe's; that is beyond debate.

Yep. The only thing I'd add is that one way it could happen (but probably won't) is if the winner of Calzaghe/Jones somehow got set up to fight the winner of Dawson/Tarver. That might happen, but I doubt it. I bet Calzaghe fights Jones and then Pavlik, and then retires. Dawson has no exposure and is too good of a fighter to fight unless he gains notoriety...
By the way, look out for Diaconu!!! I'd love to see him v. Dawson, Tarver, or Calzaghe. Or anyone!

I think one thing that will give Roy a better chance to do something in this fight is that Joe C does not throw straight punches. Johnson and Tarver throw very straight punches right through the gaurd. Roy's gaurd is good to protect from Joes wider shots. This could leave openings up the middle for Roy to exploit

If Jones can make Calzaghe respect his power early and most importantly his quickness with straight right hands, then he might make Calzaghe be more careful to let his hands go !

On the other hand, they might also be tempted to compete in a showboat dance contest as Calzaghe showed his latest moves last night behind Hopkins after pinching his balls !

If you go by this logic, I shutter to think what Morales would be like at age 36.

    Diaconu vs Calzaghe :rofl

many fans of Diaconu, state he has stamina and concentration problems, I would hate to see him rounds 6 and on against calzaghe. Calzaghe would have taken him apart by then though. Tarver is another who couldnt beat joe along with dawson or pav.
Although their chances increase the longer joe fights.
If any were his next fight then he beats them all. If he goes on 3-4 fights then its debatable.
