Bhop just gets to lasy in fights and joe dont stop throwing punches, its going to be a long night for hopkins.

Im a fan of hopkins but he is just not up to this job

 

I see your point and it's well taken. but this isn't really the case with Joe....Kessler is about the only one on his resume that has a chance at being a future great. Eubanks and Kessler were JC's best wins. Kessler hasn't beaten anyone to be considered great or even get in the conversation of a potential great.....He has the talent that's for sure, but we can never know a true great until one is tested and Joe has never "TRIED" to test himself...I think he is just interested in saving that "0".

 

Well we know from documented reports that he tried previously to fight Hopkins. And remember, Hopkins dominated a weak MW division, and until fighters came up to fight him, he made no effort to fight a great, content on cleaning his division. Calzaghe waited for Hopkins to come up, but by all accounts, he priced himself out at the last minute.

I don't think Eubank was shot BTW.....just past it.

 

Joe's non stop style against bhops ill take 3 or 4 rounds off style will make for only one winner mate.

Ill break it down for you

His (non stop style) meaning he dosent stop throwing punches for 12 rounds against Bhops some times lasy (taking 3 0r 4 rounds off) at time spells doom for bhop.

Plus hopkins is that much older and lost to a much lesser fighter twice in taylor, joe will out punch hopkins not doubt.

Now im not going to be drawn into a childish arguement got great respect for both fighters. Both in my mind are atg, just my opinion differs from yours.

I do remember BHop Dominating a weak MW divsion as well...but he did have some KEY names in or around his division that he put on his rusume. Something once agains Joe has never done. The fight with Bhop and Joe never came about....there are reports both ways saying why this fight never happened...either way it's a bad look for Joe b/c Bhop's legacy is secured! Joe is still trying to earn respect with his current resume and he sees how hard gaining respect is if he doesn't have a legit ELITE level fighter on his record.

Eubanks may not have been Shot, but a prime Eubanks would have definitly schooled that version of Joe. The Eubanks Joe faught wasn't anything close to the Eubanks that faught Chris Collins, Nigel Ben and Rocky G. And if Eubanks wasn't shot he was far more past it than just past his prime b/c Thompson UD Chris and then KO'd him if I'm not mistaken. And Carl isn't anything close to what Eubanks was as a boxer.

If kessler goes on to be a great super middle then joes status will rise , also eubank was no push over. Unless something amazing happens in this twilight year or 2of Joes carear i see it like this , he will be remembered as one of the best fighters britain has ever produced , but will probably (unfortunatly ) be remembered more as the biggest wasted talent britain and boxing has ever produced.
