Nobody gives a **** what the BRITS thought Calzaghe was. There is no proof. He has not been a power puncher since he fought anyone of note. He is an accumilation puncher and that is all. There is no debate.

Well, with that logic. I wouldnt want to be hit by Paulie neither. Or Cory Spinks. I am sure it would not be a good experience.

Anyone who thinks Calzaghe can't punch doesn't have much of a clue what they are on about. I know people who have sparred with Joe and they say he was very heavy handed. Due to hand problems he has changed his style over the years.

Chris Eubank had one of the great chins in boxing and says that Calzaghe was a big puncher when they fought. I think we should take the word of people who have been in the ring with Calzaghe than anyone ranting over their keyboard.

And Danny Williams said David Haye hits harder than Tyson. I think we should take the word of people who have been in the ring with Haye and Tyson than anyone ranting over their keyboard.

Both Enzo an Joe believed that they were losing the Hopkins fight right until the final bell and by the look on their faces at the end; thought theyd lost. I find it really hard to believe that joe wouldn't have thrown caution to the wind and "sat on" some of his punches, in that fight, if he could.

Ive honestly followed joes career from the Eubank fight and the reason I've never been his biggest fan (even though I do like him), is because of his frustrating lack of power. I've never thought him a puncher and thats well before people started calling him Calslappy etc...

It's so sad when someone is reduced to acting tough over a keyboard because they can't express their opionions in a sensible way. Sad sad sad.

He had decent power a few years back but his hand injuries have reduced this without a doubt. But he never had great power of a Benn, McClelland, Jones type fighter.

There are only literally a couple of known established fighters on the whole of boxing rec (100s to 1000s of boxers) with less genuine KO's then Joe. One of them is feather fisted Paul Malignaggi.

That's a great vid. By the quality of it, they seem to know they were going to go a long way. Joe looked about 13-14 in that first match. The best part is @ around the 5:50 mark when Joe goes back to his corner, there's Enzo sporting an award winning permed mullet.

Calzaghe's had surgery on his hands and has Titanium in there, im sure his bad hands contribute but cannot be the ONLY reason he doesnt bang hard anymore.

Other factors - Age, Training Methods, Some bums fed to him by Frank Warren previously to KO?
