They're the same? DLH has the better resume, but when has Calzaghe fallen short when it comes to being recognized as fighting champion? :think

im from the uk and never used to dislike calzaghe, i was becoming a bit of a fan. the problem started was when he beat jeff lacy, yes it was a good performance and yes beating kessler was great, but his attitude turned, and got even worse after hopkins. he gives no respect to any body, and he thinks that being undefeated is proving that you are the ultimate.

since he became champ in 1997 it took him until 2008 before he fought hopkins 11 years where you could of had a fight with better versions of hopkins, jones, and even glenn johnson, they where all around for every one of those previous 11 years, and and calzaghe did not fight them in there primes, decides to get there names on his record, when there past there best and very beatable.

calzaghe is a good fighter, but his attiude was never as bad as it is now, and that 0 is jst to improtant to him to take any real risks. there are not many fighters who are undeafted and are in the top ten fighters of all time, most of them have tasted defeat and bounced back, and thats what people will remember them for. and all the bull**** of saying pavlik didnt deserve a chance of a fight with him, and then says at a later date that he offered a fight with pavlik in 2006 after the lacy fight when that was over a year before pavlik became a big name. that just ****s me off. he could of done and achieved so much more.

Hopkins pulled out of a fight with him years back, **** Ottke youd have to be mad to fight him in Germany ala Reid one of the ludicrous fights ever, Johnson maybe but I don't think so .. none stand out!

Im a calzaghe fan but also a boxing fan and its nice to see that not all non british hate joe, i really cant be bothered talking to very anti calzaghe or very extreme pro calzaghe people... I do think that the true boxing fans out there not just casual fans who want to talk ****..realise what a world class boxer is.
I am british and proud of it but i also like world class boxers and i dont care if there american, russian, british, black,white or yellow. its a shame that a lot of people on here are very one eyed and self opinionated.

p.s im also a big fan of oscar del la hoya and he also gets a lot of **** on ESB which i dont understand as he has achieved so much and is always entertaing to watch.
