He won his last 50 Amateur fights too, so he went 96-0 before retiring, which fighter has the best winning streak of all time?

Did ricardo lopez ever lose as an amateur? I've read that he has and I've read that he hasn't. Maybe the best winning streak can go to Willie Pep. From what I've read that airplane accident really hurt his boxing career haha.

Ricardo never lost an amatuer fight, but I don't know what the total adds up to.

Pep went 62-0 as in his first 62 pro fights; Chavez went longer.

Calzaghe DID lose as an amateur, but he won all of his fights during his last three yeqars as an amateur, winning the British Amateur title at three different weights, plus several international contests. Sadly he was overlooked for the Olympics due to the ridiculous selection policy often employed by the ABA

That includes a bunch of NCs and draws so it's not a winning streak, it's an undefeated streak, which is different.
