Nothing wrong with landing less than 50% of your punches, most fighters do.... especially when you land a lot more than the other guy. :good
Enzo Calzaghe did not want to let his son face Pavlik when he saw a few feet away what Pavlik can do...So now they decide RJJ is not shot anymore and is a tough challenge...but they are sure it's a win.. I have said it in many other posts and saying it again : Roy Jones will counter Calzaghe all night and make Calzaghe more careful than usual because he will feel power coming from odd angles at a speed never encountered before.... RJJ WILL WIN A UD 116-112 !
honestly can't see any fighter saying the first comment, i would be very surprised if calzaghe said that, and it is the mirror the second comment would imply he did want the jones fight but not anymore, due to jones being shot. obviously that then begs the question why is he fighting him now .
If he could, he would, but he can't so he'll run his mouth instead. Time for Joe to put up or shut up. Doesn't seem to know how to do either. Quite sad really. His career will end with a wimper instead of a bang.

Exactly. It begs a question that not even the most devoted Calzaghe fan can answer without including the words: EASY, MONEY and JOKE.
For a few rounds he might, but, at the end of the day, it would be Pavlik ringing the class dismissed bell. Joe can't beat him, and he knows that. That's why he is fighting RJJ. Joe is so certain of a win over Roy that his legal team is already working on a court order to exume Marciano's corpse. It is what it is!
There are a lot of people that are very bitter in this thread. Bitter that Joe is a great fighter, a true great, and also far better looking.
