Kessler hits very hard, I think most fighters would have been knocked down and taken out tonight if they had taken the same shots.

All great fighters need a good chin though. Joes can hang in the light heavy division.

I can occasionally give respect through clenched teeth you know

I do think the scoring was bull****, I had Calzaghe winning by 2 rounds but he did clearly win. Kessler presented him with a lot of problems and he dealt with them admirably.

If he'd actually done this back in 2000-2001 I'd be a Calzaghe nut-hugger I assure you, it's the wasted years that make me dislike the guy....but that's Frank Warren for you. Calzaghe should have taken the Hatton route and then he'd get a lot more respect. Not hatting just the way I see it.

    Elaborate?
Pavlik faced a one dimensional Miranda.
A fraud in Taylor who defended against physically weaker opponents and got 2 very questionable decisions!

Hopkins resume is good, but he's not undefeated, and is getting on more so than Calzaghe, it will be close but Joe will edge him, Joe is busier, and Hopkins hasn't near the power of Kessler, UD Joe.

Calzaghe has a good chin - no doubt. We knew that before the fight - and we still do.

Calzaghe doesn't have granit - but it's good!

So Joe was meant to dominate and knock out a two belt Middleweight champion? would have that impressed you more?

Obviously then you'd say "Kessler wasn't all that anyway"

    Fooled the world?
    He's beaten everyone he's faced!

    Kessler
    Eubank
    Reid
    Lacy

    And alot of B- competition.

Bika will make waves in future as well.

His Matchmaking hasn't been the best, BUT he will face more A+ opponents.

Besides who do you think will beat Calzaghe?..

Calzaghe's skills are fantastic, he can OUTBOX anyone, and has a a+ chin.

Put the two together = fantastic fighter.

Anyone who I would consider a boxing fan would applaud both boxers.....and then you get idiots, like this 'Standi' who still doesn't have a good word to say about either. Speaks volumes.

Thats exactly as I see it, Joe's an awesome fighter but why the hell has it taken him until he's 35 to show the world this!!
