It's not easy for me to say this, but Blocky is right.

Kessler couldn't stop Mundine, he didn't score knockdowns against either Siaca or Lucas or Andrade. His power is slightly above average but not great.

 

Standi, in some of your posts I can see some real boxing knowledge but you are so blinded by pure hate that you make a complete fool out of yourself.

Anyway, should you support England in rugby, being English? Or does SA being current World Champions have something to do with it?

I'd say A-. I have never seen a fighter with great defense, a great chin, and the ability to throw over 100 punches a round. Calzaghe is going to be tought to beat.

Kessler had the right style match up. A power punching techinican who landed some hard stuff on coutners. It was not enough.

 

What happened to night also puts Kessler´s fight against Andrade into perspective. Kessler simply doesn´t hit as hard as many/I thought. On the other hand, Calzaghe´s chin proved to manage everything coming it´s way.

 

I was not impressed with his power either. After all the hype. I called him "average", I'll change that to "good". But this guy isn't going to set the world on fire.

 

Kessler was letting bombs go, he looked heavy handed.
