Calzaghe's status as better than all current SMWs is firmly cemented by the nights events.

Ward has only beaten Kessler (who was ruined by Calzaghe) and Miranda (who was knocked out by Pavlik, who we now know is utter crap).

Dirrell has only beaten Abraham (two of his best wins coming against Taylor and Miranda, both knocked out by Pavlik who we now know is utter crap).

Froch's best wins are against Taylor and Dirrell (see above).

Bute's best wins are against Andrade (ruined by Kessler, who was ruined by Calzaghe), Bika (ruined by Calzaghe) and Miranda (who lost to Pavlik and Abraham and Ward all of whom, as detailed above, have now been utterly exposed).

Calzaghe would beat them all in one night, even Royal Rumblee stylee in one ring.

That's no reason not to find them and bump them.

Yeah those ''Pavlik would KO Oliver McCall'' threads need to be bumped

Nothing against him but he'd basically held the division hostage for nearly three years fighting domestic level opposition (barring Hopkins) - hopefully Martinez fights Williams next and the winner can clean up the division.

Bute looked great apparently, this reflects well on Sakio Bika (who would beat Carl Froch incidently), so enhances Joe Calzaghe's legacy even more spectacular levels.

I'm not sure what this thread about a ruined Pavlik (never the same again after Hopkins brutally educated him) has to do with anything really.

Yeah but Miranda already had four losses - two by stoppage... against every decent fighter he faced!

Its kind of like a boxing version of "6 Degrees of Separation" where every currently active fight is either ****, overrated or exposed because Sergio Martinez beat Kelly Pavlik last night.

  8. I think it shows how overrated Carl Froch's victory over Jermaine Taylor is. Taylor only just beat Bernard Hopkins twice.

    These threads are ridiculous.

Ali struggled like hell with Frasier who foreman beat easily. Ali beat foreman.

This is not pythagoras's theorum. Fight a squared + fight b squared has **** all to do with fight c squared!

I think it proves that Gerrald McClellan was over - rated

It shows that Pavlik wasnt very good and Hopkins beat him, denigrating Calzaghe's win over Hopkins - Which in itself proves that Calzaghe can't have ever been very good, meaning beating Eubank wasn't such a difficult feat, the knock on effect shows that Nigel Benns whole career has been over rated as he was beaten off Eubank, which in itself irrefutably assertains that Nigels signiture win over Gerrald McClellan was nothing more than a standard KO over a journeyman....

    .probably...

That negatively affects Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather's resume then. Also Mosley, as he should rightly have lost in his prime to DLH, Margarito lost to Mosley, Williams only just beat Margarito, Margarito beat Cotto, downgrading Pacquiao's victory over him as well.

In conclusion, Carl Froch = P4P number one.

Cant see why it affects Joe to be honest. He beat Hopkins before any of this took place.Im sure Calzaghe aint worrying about it at all.

I don't think Gaz is being serious, surely the words 'a new low' give away the fact that he's on a wind-up? :yep
