This one or the other 87 that will spring up. Or did you mean the 182 threads that have gone before on the subject of 'if x beats y then how good was Z's win over Y?' Total bull!!!
These troll threads are why i visit this forum less and less. Why not talk about Martinez rather then the indirect impact it might have on a retired fighters status. Some folk need to get a life.
Yes see where i called this a "troll thread". One who posts a deliberately provocative message to a forum with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument.
bollocks!! i remember Bunce almost cumming in his pants when Hopkins schooled Pavlik - it apparently proved that Calzaghe was the second coming and the greatest boxer to have walked the earth...even though Pavlik of old didn't show up, didn't move, didn't throw a punch... and now Pavlik has been beaten by a tremendously poor fighter. does this damage Calzaghe's legacy? well if affects the perspectives of fans like us, and it has done for a lot of us in this thread, then yes it has.
Despite all the jokes, which I guess this thread was made as... Pavlik proved to be not as good as we gave him credit for, but most never thought him that great anyway, the jury was still out: now we have the results, now we can assess the true picture.
"At the end of the day"... even knowing what we know now, Pavlik would have still been a more live fight than the corpse of Roy Jones ever was.
Snorting mountains of coke and shagging your sister definately trumps gorging on pies and guiness...Calzaghe is as low as a snakes nutsack :deal
