The eubank KD's were just great opportunist punches. Eubank was backpedalling in the first KD and was caught on the way in for the second and touched down. He was mostly off balance and the punches helped him down.
This thread is on about Calzaghe's power. Of all of Calzaghe's KO's, a lot were TKO's, meaning the ref stopped the contest, as opposed to dropping someone and putting them out cold:good.
That's not true. Quite a few of his earlier (some of them posted above) he did exactly that. I seem to remember that he made Brewer do the a mild chicken dance for about half a round too..
He could whack a bit when he was younger, not one-punch and it's goodnight power but he could still hurt a lot of fighters. I actually think his hand injuries made him a more rounded fighter. He didn't just go in there swinging away, he started to box and move a bit more than what he was.
