Charles Brewer- won the vacant IBF title against Gary Ballard(who?). Got dropped twice and was getting taken to school by an old way past it Herol Graham until he caught him in the tenth. Lost his title 4 year before Calzaghe fought him. And was stopped in 3 rounds by Echols 1 year before the Calzaghe fight. Brewer then went life and death with Scott Pemberton and was then stopped by Veit and Lolenga Mock. Brewer was past it when Calzaghe fought him and even in his prime Brewer was a B/ B- fighter. Richie Woodhall- Who gives a **** what he did in the amatuers. Was dominated and stopped by Keith Holmes at 160 4 years before the Calzaghe fight. Won the title off a 42 year old Sugar Boy Malinga(Malinga beat a pretty much shot verison of Benn). Woodhall lost his title 1 year previous to Markus Beyer. His fight vs Calzaghe would be his last.

Byrd is the only fighter Roy fought AFTER he won his first title. So even mentioning those names are ****in stupid. ANd if you want to compare pre title resumes then Jones' blows Calzaghe's out of the water.:hi:
Bull****. I've watched about 15 Calzaghe fights in an effort to try and understand and appreciate his style. Don't assume you know anything about anyone. Here is MY list of Joe's best wins. 1. Kessler-Young, unified SMW champ, top contender at 168. Best win via combination of difficulty and performance 2. Hopkins-P4p guy, a somewhat controversial win. Best win in terms of competition (p4p/LHW champ) 3. Eubank-Tough fight against a tough fighter to take the title 4. Lacy-Superlative performance against a decent titleholder. Best win in terms of performance. 5. Reid-Tough fight, showed grit and determination as well as heart. Not his best performance but he did what he does and found a way to win. 6. Bika- Difficult circumstances around this fight, Bika a physically strong and dirty fighter; Joe adapted and despite lackluster showing won solid victory. You may put Jones in there above Bika if you choose, due to the quality of the performance; I do not, just as I do not count Trinidad among Jones' best fights even though he dominated. The competition was too inferior and the ranking would be based solely on name. I can see Bika being rated higher than Reid, so either way you have it it is exactly where (5-7) I said it would be. Now, since you know soooooooo much, go ahead and explain why I am wrong and Bika is not where he belongs. I will wait.
