It isn't a shitty resume by any means. If people actually bothered to reaserch the guys he faced, instead of just taking things at face value i.e you know nothing about guys he faced BEFORE Lacy, then its becomes a decent resume. Yeah, its not great, I agree, to say its shitty is just plain wrong IMO, and it compares well to a lot of big American stars like RJJ and TYSON.

For Roy's fighting style and what he did to his body, it IS a big deal. In fact it's pretty much everything.

The RJJ win for Joe was a name. Nothing more.

Yeah, but if it's not a great record as you have admitted then its hard to place him as an ATG. RJJ and TYSON were obvious greatness to most who watched them in the ring during their primes. Joe while a solid fighter just never had that kind of magic in the ring.

My point is that some big name American fighters don't have the best resumes either, but people tend not to mention that, yet Calzaghe's resume gets picked over all the time, when it is actually quite deep. I'm not sure exactly what the criteria is for being an ATG is, but I would think resume+achivements - being an undefeated world champ, 46-0, unifiying at 168 - this are pretty big achivements on Calzaghe's part.

    8.Reid
    9.Sheika
    10.Bika

Jones Jr was shot whereas Eubank was just severely rusty and past-prime.
