Calzaghe's Sparring.....

    in "boxing's greatest workouts", it said that nigel benn didn't spar much either. maybe it's a brit thing?? or these two are naturals.

    sparring is a good thing although some fighters overdo it. Sparring too much is a problem later in a fighters career.

    How much sparring is too much sparring?

    i have heard that brain damage comes from too much sparring and not so much the actual fights dont know how true that statement is....

    Vlad does a lot of sparring now, unlike in the old days.

    Calzaghe has so much natural talent that he could get by without too much sparring, but he did spar as much as was neccessary. Calzaghe was fantastic at ad******g while in the ring.

    Mozart wrote finished music straight out of his head without corrections or revisions.

    Olivier read through his scripts but didn't do rehearsals.

    Calzaghe didn't spar.




    I think there's a pattern here somewhere.

    Geniuses don't need to practice ?
