He got hit by a forearm.

It should have been declared a NC if that had of KO'd Calzaghe. Luckily his chin is so good to even withstand that.

Recovery skills/chin - are they the same? That's a genuine question! You have people who go down/get hurt often, yet always get up and then you have people who barely go down/get hurt, but usually stay down for the count. Who has the better chin?

There are a few things to factor into recovery. How long you actually stay hurt. Calzaghe is excellent here.

And recovery skills, what you do when you are hurt to recover. Calzaghe usually fires back which is smart since it occupies an opponent. Calzaghe is also excellent here.

Sounds great, and not so great at the same time! I guess the next day was a little painful?

Lol. So that's why for the remainder of the fight Calzaghe put his guard down and stuck his face virtually between Royston's arms then is it!! There was a gentleman's agreement for at least the last 2 rounds and anyone who's been in a ring themselves could see that

And for letting Calzaghe recover, Jones deserved to get his ass whipped and humiliated for half an hour.

    That's justice.

lol in that case Calzaghe is lying when he says he didn't finish Jones off because he was scared of being caught again by Jones left which put him down in the first. More lies from Joe.

Nice to see Joe's cheered up a bit after giving Froch such a doing last week.
