Whilst Trinidad wasn't a 140lber, he wasn't a middleweight either. His absolute prime was welter and he looked good at 154lbs. He was never that impressive at 160 or above.

 

Pavlik was NOT a unified champ at 170... He was the unfied champ 10 pounds below. You are just being selective with what you present. But tell me, how many other fighters did Pav beat at 170? Tito beat the **** outta Joppy in 5, the same Joppy who went 10 at 168 w/ Bute.

He beat the top JrMW at the time, and beat the **** outta Joppy at 160. Tito's tenure at 160 was very brief. And that's the only knock. But what he did to Joppy WAS impressive, considering Taylor, Hopkins, nor Bute (at 168) couldn't do the same.
