The JC / MK fight is due to start some time around 2am.

 

I hope thats not true, as I heard the JC/MK fight will kick-off at 1am.

Nothing I hate more than waiting around what seems like an eternity for fights to start, just so the americans can view it at a kind hour whilst Im sitting with ****in matchsticks in my eyes to keep them open.

 

Don't see why HBO wanted a 1am start when neither are Americans?

 

I think its cos a lot of americans rate Kessler really highly, I have watched many boxing shows from america & canada on the internet & the analysts over there rave about him.
I think they just know its going to be a huge fight, & thats where the late start comes in.

What a win for Joe this would be if he can pull it off.

 

Yeah despite his awful choice of shirt, the kid does have a cool expression and carrys himself well. I like his attitude.

Thats why Im moaning Gaz my good man, cos its gonna be a stinker of an undercard by the look of things. The only thing I am happy about is that I will get to See Ricky Burns, as hes on it. But apart from that, there are no fights to whet my big scottish appetite.

I mean, what a slap in the face to warren that the BBBC told Seallars to **** off. It seems like Frank since hes joined Setanta is gradually going back to his bad old ways, with the Arthur-Foster jnr fight & Enzo fighting whatever mug they can pass off as a contender.

But of course, come next week the adrenalin rush of waiting to see a mega fight between JC & MK should make up for a poor undercard. You know me, I just like a good whinge

I hope Joe wins to be honest, as hes a good guy who is very nice about scottish fighters, & you dont see that too much in todays boxing. The fact he gets Kenny Anderson down to spar with him is not lost on me either, for one of Scotlands future stars to be sparring with a fighter like Joe Calzaghe, words cant explain just how great that is for one of our boys to be learning from a great fighter like Joe.

TBH guys I don't think even a decent Enzo opponent can rescue this card. If JC is starting at 2 ish then the bill needs at least 2 other top quality fights from 12 onwards and maybe an area/ Commonwealth fight before those. You have to be in the venue by half 10, thats a lot of time to kill watching Warren prospects in 8 rounders....

I guess I'll just have to come on ESB and pick arguments on the General Forum while I'm waiting for the main event....
