    Mayweather has wasted so much his talent, Calzaghe, eventually, pretty much got every last drop of ability out of himself. So I am not going to answer the question, as I will be annoyed with the answer.

    mayweather.....calazaghe has two bigger names..hopkins and jones..but one was shot..and the other was a very close win.....mayweather does have one close win...but he came back and won big in the rematch...all in all id say mayweather at this point.

    Mayweather has boxed with the likes of De La Hoya, Mosely, Hatton, Corrales, Marquez, Castillo, Gatti, Judah and a whole bunch of genuine top 10 fighters.

    This is a joke only because both guys are duckers, not because one has a particularly better record. Let's compare their best opponents, as long as they are of similar caliber:

    De La Hoya.......Hopkins
    Marquez...........Kessler
    Hatton.............Reid
    Mosley.............Eubank
    Corrales...........Lacy
    Judah..............Mitchell
    Castillo............Jones
    Gatti...............Sheika
    Baldomir..........Bika

    I was clutching at straws for the last one, but Floyd's record is only slightly better. Both Joe and Floyd ducked a lot of great fighters.

    Calzaghe beat a ancient Jones, ancient Hopkins (yes he was. dont care what he did after the Calzaghe fight), and an almost extinct Eubank. Also an overrated Kessler.


    He can't even compare with Mayweather.
