I'm sorry but from the moment he lead a float in the "rainbow"/GAY pride parade in NY?? The ominous shadow was cast, and it has long since been cemented. Damn shame for Sr though. I was never a fan of his either, but he is a man who acted like one and gave us some entertaining fights before becoming the ballerina against Trinidad. Shame that that performance was likely the most revered by Jr.:good
no, he actually became the ballerina during the 5th round of his fight with edwin rosario. watch the youtube clip.
he still has name value and can make some money being the opponent for contenders and prospects on tv
STill Sr was 10 times the man/fighter his son was and a good case for the apple sometimes falls far away from the tree:good
Not in the same league, but jr. HAD world champion potential coming up. He actually had more power than his old man, would sit down on his punches more. It's a shame he didn't have the heart or discipline to do anything with his talent. Seems like a smart, nice kid too. Waste of boxing skills.
I still think Jr can be a contender. If he can get his fat ass down to 140 he can give people head aches there. He really only lost this fight because he was 161 pounds and even in the fight with Tsurkan he was 152 pounds and looked fat and only started to lose when he gassed.
