Good post. I agree, he could have easily been a champ at 140. Not only was he quick at jr. welter but had really good power when he sat down on his punches. The only real criticism I would have had would be that he was often too patient and defensive. One thing I always thought was that he looked thick in the body, which made it tough to maintain 140, but welterweight or jr. middle would certainly be doable--173 is way over a good fitness level for jr. Last time he looked decent was against Tsurkan, and that fight was a clear loss, although an early stoppage. If jr. can get back to 147, I'll take him seriously again. Doubtful though.
