camacho v simmons

Discussion in 'British Boxing Forum' started by sikeside, Jul 2, 2013.

  1. It would be a great little fight while it lasted though
It's just camacho is so loose compared to Simmons textbook jab,one two and guard that he would get chopped down but he would have a go

Simmons's workrate would make camacho crumble they way he did against China Clarke

Camacho spent the whole time (following his fight) during the Bolton event chatting up the ring card girls, not sure about his dedication in general tbh!

The fight won't happen while Simbo is unbeaten, or at least until Wadi gets a couple decent wins again. Apparently a big fight lined up for him down London in December for Simbo and don't think it makes sense for Eddie to put him in with Wadi as if Simbo loses that would be 2 of his Cruisers with slightly tarnished records.

No, JLD will face Conquest next because he won an eliminator vs Camacho.

Looks like Simmons will be going a different route & will face European/international opponents.

Hardly "new" Hector Camacho was saying it back in the 1980s
