Hitrue and wow on how you were taught by Camacho's stepfather. I was taught by Estaban DeJesus's uncle. He was a very funny guy. Actually if you did not read my response to another thread a few days ago, here it is. I was very fast and power in both hands. I was sparring at WW with a CW. I am a conventional fighter and switch to lefty to showboat. Caught the guy good. DeJesus yells in spanish which is funier, but in English "what are you doing fighting lefty, when you first have to learn how to fight righty". I lost focus for a second and bam, got dropped. I got bloodied actually. The opponent helped me up me up like he committed a crime. DeJesus was a character. I a few more stories, but that was one of them. I had the power to handle CW. It is too bad I never took boxing 100%. My frame was 5'10 1/2 and fought from 140 to 175. Actually when I stopped competing, I was told I could have dropped my weight to 132. I was tall like a Tito and Oscar back in 1990.

Anyone placing Camacho in their ATG listings based on career achievement would have to place Floyd in a far superior position.

As for H2H in a fight at 130 - who cares, you can't analyse that efectively.

Floyd can boast better, undefeated for over 10 years, 5 division champion

Think about it, there has to be a time when you were blamed for something and had to own up. When your front and center, it's hard to explain. It's tough and you trying to explain, but it comes out the wrong way. You look or sound much more guilty. I use to also be a cop in Boston and people say the craziest things to defend themselves. At times, I already know what the mean, but let them talk anyway. I know it is kind of cruel. I was a cool cop though.

I won't go back and forth with you on Camacho and PBF, but all I will say is that prime for prime at 130, it would be such an interesting fight. You cannot or should not say PBF wins hands down. Camacho was such a phenom at 130 (great) and PBF was good at 130. I don't know....

Floyd is obviously far greater than Camacho, but @ 130 head-to-head, that's a different story.

beat Mancini, Haugen, Rosario, Boza Edwards, Solis, Limon, Pazienza, JL Ramirez, all around their primes......

Beat past it Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran but he was well past it too so it evens it out and I'd say are good wins

Went the distance with PRIME Chavez, Trinidad, and DLH and wasn't stopped while he was past his best in weight classes (Tito, DLH) way above his prime

Didn't lose a fight until 11 years into his career in his 3rd weight class and it was controversial loss as he was deducted a point for not touching gloves he rematched Haugen and whooped him anyway...1st true loss wasn't until the Chavez fight when he was past it and not taking boxing as serious

One of the best 130 lbers of all time

Remember too that Bramble called Camacho a...I think it was "bacci" or something...apparently a serious slur in hispanic culture for homosexual. That really pissed off Camacho. I know I got the word wrong, but someone here will probably know what I'm talking about.

    :yikes

    Mancini was a pensioner (4 years lay-off).

And Camacho never beat Rosarioo, he bycicled a gift decision.
