one thing for sure is that Abraham was coming on in those championship rounds and that the outcome was still in doubt. there has been alot of revisionist history since the fight occured. It would've been a thriller.
Dirrell was clearly not faking it. End of that part of the discussion. Going forward, while it was by no means a foregone conclusion, I had a very strong feeling that Abraham was going to be able to knock Dirrell out before the final bell, had that not happened. Dirrell's legs were clearly losing steam and Abraham had been tagging him heavily and had all the momentum on his side. Very unfortunate ending to what otherwise would have been a tremendous final round.
He thought he lost because. He really thought he was KOed. Shaw had to tell him, "No, he was DQed, he hit you while you were down"
I thought the 360 footage of the actual incident made it look even more like he was faking. And since when had it been ok to cry hysterically at a loss? Andre 'the crying game' Dirrell
He gave the same look Griffin gave when Roy KO'd him with an illegal blow. The period between the action and reaction. Really I thought we'd been over this with all the dumbies.
The guy has his face grazed by a punch, sits up, looks at AA and then the cogs turn and he decides to sprawl lifelessly on the canvas. The fact that he cried like a baby just proves he's prepared to sacrifice his dignity for the win.
not sure how you can call anyone a dumbie over this considering you don't know with certainty that dirrell was actually knocked out, dumbie.
Dude he didn't even know where the **** he was in the ring after the fight. Jim Grey asked him a question about the fight and he was like 'Are you my keeper? WHERE ARE THE KEEPERS??' or some ****. Just get off this ****. I can't believe these 'controversies' that blow up over the most obvious ****. I mean seriously. You have to be ****ing ******ed not to be able to recognize someone who's completely ****ing disoriented and not right in the head. **** you think, he suddenly channeled DeNiro? He's an oscar winning ****ing actor? After getting hit in the ****ing head for 12 rounds? This **** is stupid.
I was actually looking forward to Dirrell being forced to stand and fight for a round. He has power and crazy speed and does some insane **** with his hands on the rare occasions he's forced into a toe-to-toe. Maybe Abraham gets him, maybe not. Maybe Abraham gets got instead.
What does that prove? Look, even I can do it! "Ah Man! I got knocked out!!!!" Damn that was hard! How the hell did I pull this off? Give me an Oscar somebody!!! atsch :rofl
