i would've thought if he was hit hard enough to convulse, they would've taken him to the hospital straight away. they didn't cos they knew, the doctors knew he was faking aswell haha!

    FAKE.

what a strange incident... even after so many days later, it still feels weird. Both lost a lot - AA sympathy by coming off as a sore loser (and fouler) and AD as a guy who panics and mentally melts down every time somebody corners him.

the good thing is that both will chance to change this perception.

anybody who thinks Dirrell faked it is just a plain idiot...dont gimme that 'he was going to be ko'd' bs, because he had been rocked in the 10th but had clearly regained his confidence and was clearly winning the 11th...i cant believe how dumb some people are...jus plain hatred for the man and his fighting style and nothing else, no reason and/or facts to suggest that he faked it except 'i just think he did.'

The Dirrell faking will go down in boxing history as one of the most digraceful incidents ever. After watching the last fightcamp episode I almost felt as if Dirrell deserved to be hit flush instead of that half-sick punch AA sent him out with. Where's Dirrell's pride????

Doesn't prove **** he took the acting to the extreme.

ffs come on ! get your heads out of the sand you can clearly see the punch abraham landed clipped and grazed him wasn't a powerful enough connection to ko him like that.
Seeing that fake crying just made me cringe, I put it to you that anyone that thinks the whole thing wasn't a giant act is a ******.

I am of the opinion that he was faking, but I am not going to be so arrogant to say "I know he was faking, end of discussion". I am not Dirrell, so I don't know if he was or wasn't faking. I just have the opinion that he was.

Now, would Abraham had been able to stop him had the incident not happened? Again, I don't know for sure. I wouldn't rule it out though. Arthur was coming on strong. I really hope these guys fight again, and not 17 years later.

you got no facts either except " i think he didn't fake it". go on laydown your facts, not your opinion. he was winning the fight? so what, alot of fighters who were winning get knocked out, so that's not exactly proof that dirrell didn't exagerate the effects of the blow.

like i said to all you ****ers, we got an opinion, not facts, only dirrell knows how he felt, but all you calling us dumb over our opinion that he exagerated are the actual ones who are dumb to even think that's impossible that he wouldn't exagerate it.

really want to see a rematch,i,think dirrell knew arther comes on strong in the later rounds, dirrells wife sure did. i think dirrell took the easy way out,it annoyed me but i think he had every right to do so. that punch could have cost dirrell that fight if he had carried on. if it had carried on and abraham won by k.o, i'd be happy but feel it was underserved, and possibly due to the foul commited.

that's what i'm saying his wife was worried about abraham coming on strong in the later rounds, so if she knew that then you can bet on your ass dirrell knew it. why take the risks of getting caught when you can milk an illegal blow and get the win right there and then? dirrell got the win, and he was the better boxer at that point, and he won like i said he would, but i didn't like to see him win like that. bad acting aswell.

I don't think that anyone, including Dirrell himself, liked the ending.
    It was highly unsatisfactory for:

    a) both fighters (either decision by Dirrell fending off the desperate AA's attacks, or a knockout by AA would be HUGE HUGE in terms of accomplishment and status) and

    b) for us fans (it's like reaching the pinnacle and falling off down instead of reaching the further heights).

The rematch between these two guys, given the right circumstances, would be huge though.

By all standards we need the following rematches:

    1) Dirrell - Froch (it was a draw)

    2) Dirrell - Abraham (no contest)

Hell, some could even argue that Kessler-Ward should be a no contest because of the
    excessive headbutting.

How about Hopkins and Holyfield fight everyone on their resume again?

    I didn't think so!

Lotta fighters do it. Athletes in general. Competetiors
you cant say your tougher because you have nothing in your life worth crying for but if you think you are you lose because them cry babies are way more mentally and physically tough then you proof is in the pudding
they started out as children just like you did however they disciplined thereselves to take there finance and physical ability to new brackets
no shame in a competitor crying
