British boxing trainer Ben Doughty has taken it upon himself to start a campaign for the induction of Jimmy Tibbs into the International Boxing Hall of Fame. Ben posted on his Facebook page: Personally, I feel this is a great cause. He is a fantastic example of someone who has turned their life around thanks to boxing. He is a superb trainer who has worked with the best in britain, and I feel this accolade is long overdue. Dare I say it, if Jimmy was American, he would have been inducted a long time ago. Ben has set up a Facebook page in order to help this cause, and it'll be great for everyone who believes Tibbs should be inducted to get involved. Simply search Search 'Canastota Calling - induct Jimmy Tibbs into the IBHOF' on facebook and you will find the group. If you feel Jimmy deserves to be included in the HOF, it'll be great if you could get behind the campaign by simply 'liking' the group.
